John’s Success Story

John became homeless after losing his job during the pandemic. John was a teacher's aide, and after losing his apartment he stayed with friends and family. This became too much of a strain on him and his friends, which is how he became one of our guests. John is extremely polite, respectful, and very grateful. We helped him replace his driver's license, build a resume, and get him to and from multiple job interviews. John was able to land a job in February, doing what he loves, teaching. He was able to save his money and remain a guest with us until he could afford to move into his new apartment. John took advantage of what we were able to offer and made strong connections with our staff and volunteers. We are so excited for him to come back next season and volunteer with us, continuing the mission through Hope, Love, and Grace.
