HealthSpark Foundation Grant Helps Pottstown Beacon of Hope Sustain Life-Saving Summer Services
Pottstown Beacon of Hope is honored to announce the receipt of a $40,000 general operating support grant from HealthSpark Foundation, providing vital resources to continue serving our neighbors throughout the summer.
This grant arrives at a critical time. With our Permanent Housing and Resource center under development, Pottstown Beacon of Hope remains the community leader stepping up for those experiencing homelessness in our community. Each week, we assist guests with accessing medical care, securing employment, reuniting with family, and taking the first steps toward stable housing.
The HealthSpark grant ensures that this work continues without interruption. Summer can be a particularly dangerous time for individuals without shelter, facing extreme heat, unpredictable storms, and a lack of cooling centers all place our guests at increased risk. This funding helps us meet those urgent needs with dignity and compassion while we build toward our long-term vision: a permanent Housing and Resource Center in Pottstown for Pottstown.
